Fujairah is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates

The Emirate of Fujairah covers 1,150 km2 (440 sq mi), or about 1.5% of the area of the UAE, and is the fifth largest . Its population is around 130,000 inhabitants(From wikipedia).

I called Amir Cheema one day before 27th and asked for the plan, he told me to take the pre appointment form, visa and all other necessary documents and told me to reach tomorrow morning at 6 am at there flat in daira.

Later on Rahim messaged me that we will meet at 7 am at daira so i postponeded the plan of early sleeping and slept at 02:30 am after watching the movie “Eagle eye”.

On 26th of jun i awaked at 06:00 and prepared to go to Daira. I reached daira at 06:30 and went to a hotel and taken tea, after that i reached at the friend’s flat at 06:50.

Kashif was taking bath and others were not expecting for his exit at least for 20 minutes as he takes bath for hours , we don’t know what he does in the wash room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Rehim is very accurate about time so Ater few minutes Rahim reached there and Kashif got out from bath room. Kashif, Amir and awais became ready after few minutes and we got out from their

flat at 07:30 appromaxitly.

In the way to car parking Amir and awaise both were asking about the document’s shoper to each other as each was expecting that other should had taken the shoper, and end result was; they both went back to take that shoper of documents which ofcourse wasn’t much heavy than shopper itself.

As usual Kashif had not any idea about the road that goes to Fujera so in the car parking we were searching for any Pakistani pathan driver to get some idea about the road.

Suddendly i thougth about one of my uncle who lives in Fujairah and dialed his number to ask about the appropriate path that leads Dubai to Fujairah.

Kashif talked with him and used to node on fone as he has understood all but afterwords he told me that he was noding just because of respect of my uncle and actually he had not understood as the path which uncle was telling is very complex and uses many link roads.

Ultimatly we got a pathan driver who came in the parking to take his car, he told us about the way to Fujairah.

In the way to Fujairah we thought we should had bring a camera but we taken some pictures of camels, sand mounts,rocks and date palm trees with amir’s mobile camera.

After crossing Sharja we had taken tea from petrol pump’s supermarket and again started our journey.

We stoped our car in the carpets market which was in the way, we had not purchased any thing but taken many pictures, group picutures and seperate pictures of each individual with the

beautiful background of the market .

Kashif told me to take his pictures while he is standing with his car, some times sitting on the bonnet of the car because he wanted to show that he is the owner of the car, I had

taken the pictures that are very nice pictures but car is not there in these pictures .

Kashif was reminding us about the “Masafi” again and again, Masafi is a market of fresh fruits in the way to Fujairah, Which came after one and half hours drive, after having a large conversion with the shope keepers we purchased few KGs of mangoes and other fruits.

We reached Fujairah at 09:45 and searched for the building where the office was located after few minutes we succeeded to find the building.

it was a silver colored building, there was no one at the reception when we enterend the building, after some time a person came from inside and we asked from him about the office.

he told us to use the stairs and go to the second floor where the office is so we done the same and reached at the office.

There were two women at the reception who looked native, they checked our passport and given each of us a token number and told us to wait in the waiting hall, when we set in the waiting hall we expected that we have to wait for hours as we had taken appointments earlier and a time was mentioned at the

appointments, mine appointment time was 01:30 and all other had 12:00, 12:30 , 11:00 something like this and it was 10:15 there.

Wile they were calling the other person’s token numbers we became happy as numbers were very close to our token numbers.

After 5 minutes each one’s number came,when my number came i went inside counter number2.

There was and arab sitting at the chair in front of the table, on the table there was a computer’s LCD and a printer at the other small table that jointed the large table, he greeted me with a smile and asked me “KIA HAAL HAI” in his poor urdu accent.

He asked my several questions and taken my signs at different placess of the form , after completing the form he told me for 320dh, i had not an idea that there is any fee of this, so i asked him again “what!!!!!!!!” he replied again 320dh plz.

I became very confused because i had only 50dh in my pocket, i requested him to give me some time so that i can take money from my frieds, he said ok, i went to counter 3 where cheema was sitting and asked him that if he has some money he nodded in negation, then i went to rehim who was in an other counter and asked for money, he replied the he himself have taken from Kashif , then i came at waiting

haal were Kashif was sitting after fullfilling his process, I asked him the same way and he replied in the same way and added i just have given some amount to rahim so  you can ask to him , repeated the same with awais.

Even if we were adding all the amount of all of us instead we were unable to gather 320dh

All the office staff became aware that these guys who came from Dubai even have not 320dh , the receptionist were not able to hide there laughs.

Me and Kashif were also laughing as if we have done some great work.

Finally i asked officer that can we pay through cradit card , he said no!!!, i got permission to go out and take the amount from ATM.

i went down and was praying that ATM should be ok , otherwise we would be unable to pay the amount, I walked about half kilometer in the hot temperature of 50 celsius and finally found an atm and withdrown the money.

We became free at 11:30 and we had to wait till 01:30 because my uncle invited us on lunch, my friends were restricting me to postpond the plan of lunch and excuse from uncle so that we can go to beach but i convinced them that i already have eluded many invitations of my uncle.

To pass the time we found a discount center at a round in Fujairah while we were wandering here and there.

The most attractive part of the discount center was that every thing there was of 9.95dh .

So we blasted at discount center and purchased unnecessary things that we hadn’t any plan to purchase , without taking care of money again.

I have purchased tiger stuffed,a jeans belt,a tea shirt etc, i do’nt know what others bought but i saw Amir cheema checking under garments ,rahim taken a tea cup,awaise taking different

steel cups, plates, and other things for kitchen, Kashif was checking the caps and shirts etc.

i thought that i should buy something for my aunty and went on flower shop i selected few flowers but those were not of the standered that those could be given to some one and i asked the sales girls that “do’nt you people have any special thing, any expensive thing” i added “expensive” deliberately giving here the impression that i am very rich person but she replied that “no we havn’nt”, suddenly i saw there a beautiful vase of golden flowers and asked her to show, she picked it up and showed , i asked her  to take an advice “what do you think about this”

she replied “these are beautifull” then i asked “they are also of 9.95″ she replied that “no actually each stemp of flower  is of 9.95 so these are 9 and vessel itsef is of 9.95 so these are of 99.5″ she used calculator.

By listening that my heart beat fastened because we werer already moving out of money and i had given the girl the impression of being rich so now i was finding a way to refuse,  suddenly Kashif came and said “yaar why you are purching a gift for your aunty from here ,we have purchased some fruits from masafi you can give those”, i sighed and accepted and execused from the girl .

My uncle called me at 12:00 and asked me about the location and told me that he is comming there to take us.

In the discount center amir cheema was contantly taking pictures.

So we ended shoping and came at the gate of discount center and taken some pictures there.

My uncle came there and taken us to a pakistani hotel, it was a pakistani hotel of Kashmari owners, i have forgotton the name.

We taken our lunch there,Kashif, Rahim, awaise and me taken fish, amir cheema ate mutton karahi and uncle ate biryani.

After that we visted uncle’s home, i mate with aunty, we stayed there for 10 minutes and planed to go to see Bidiya mosque in DAIBA that is thousands of years old and a part of attraction for visitors.

we drove about 1 hour from Fujairah to DAIBA but not found the mosque and reached KHUR FAKAN a small town with a beautifull beach so we postponded to find the mosque and parked the car at beach, at about 02:00 in 50 celsius.

There were only few people at the beach, we set there at banches which were under the shadows of trees, no one was daring to go in hot water, but amir cheema and awais decided to take a bath so they both worn their shorts and taken the bath.Kashif and me joined them after few minutes but rahim remained at the banch.

we had taken many pictures but finally the battery of camera became down, we drove back at 03:30.

Fujaira is a very beautiful place , specially i like the beaches, it is at the cost of sea , so it is filled with beach spots, while driving we passed by many public beaches some have large umberallas, some have beautifull grass and some have childs play grounds.

while driving at the bank of sea from hotel to home my uncle told that the sea is only 14 kilo meters wide from here and at the other side there is the border of Iran, and if there would be bridge at the sea the trading would bost in this region.

we all were very tired and sleepy While driving back from fujaira, we stopped at the Masafi again and purchased some fruits, this was evening now and hotness of sun became decreased.

After we left Masafi, Amir Cheema not waited and started eating mango, after eating mango he thrown the waste from side window while we were driving more then 100 km per hour, the waste flied and passed by a car which was comming back , thak GOD that nothing bad had happaned and trafic police was not there.

Before reaching to Sharja we taken tea at a small cafe near some petrol pump as all were feeling headche, the weather was very nice now, the nice evening wind was running, we enjoyed the tea and reached dubai after few minutes drive.

It was a one day travel but it given us the memmories that we will remember for years, it seemed that we have traveled for months, I learned a lesson that is “Always take sufficient amount while going for a tour, don’t just be on Cradit cards or ATM cards”.

We were very tired but very happy , i felt an enegy in myself and i was ready for the office next day.
